Mustaches!

When Kendyl found Elfie this morning, I don't think she was very happy with him. He had drawn mustaches on the kids faces in one of the sets of pictures hanging on the wall.

Kendyl kept going on about how girls shouldn't have mustaches and that Elfie was being a bad elf. She seemed insulted that Elfie would draw a mustache on her. She didn't care that he drew them on the boys.

Ashton on the other hand thought that the whole thing was pretty funny.

Roasting marshmallows

Ashton was the first to come down yesterday morning to look for Elfie. Kendyl had been sent home sick from school the day before with a low grade fever of 99.0 which means that she can't return to school until Monday (rolls eyes). She was fine. I checked her temp when she came home from school and there was no fever. She played and ate normally all night, but I still had to keep her home the next day due to school policy. So, she slept in and Ashton came down first. Elfie was very easy to spot on the kitchen counter. It looked like he had been roasting marshmallows during the night with the snowmen! Ashton got a kick out of that!

Kendyl finally came down and it didn't take her very long to find Elfie either. She thought it was so funny that he was roasting the marshmallows with those snowmen.
